I have been with the DUSA Crew for almost 18 months. DUSA Crew is a position under the Deakin University Student Association (DUSA) and is a part of the Students Helping Students Hub. I had run various events like U-Belong Week, PRIDE Week, Wellness Week, and many more. I had been very enthusiastic and approachable to attend most of the online and on-campus events. I had motivated other fellow students to be a part of the crew too. My leadership skills improved in the role as I efficiently delegated tasks, motivated my team members, and listened to them effectively for the events conducted. I had joined the crew to cater to the Deakin student community and develop skills like communication, teamwork, and networking.
