I started as a club member in DNES but wanted to improve the club and help students network comfortably across different backgrounds. I participated in the DNES club 2020 election and had gotten the position of Vice Secretary. After being appointed, the DNES committee had taken my suggestions and we had come up with different online events that were engaging for students and brought the industry professional and students closer. I believe in delegating tasks based on the choices, expertise, and scope of learning for an individual which can be extensively seen in my role. I like to be stern enough to get the work done but friendly enough so that my team members can count on me. The skills that I have practiced the most were self-management, cross-cultural communication, critical and innovative thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving.
